Apprentice

Spent 4 years under the guidance of Jane Gilles, Senior Conservator at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston

Duties included cleaning works of art with various detergents, chemicals, thinners, abrasives and materials. The consolidation and stabilization of ceramics and stucco objects with paraloid b72 in an acetone suspension, gluing, filling and in-painting the creation of missing parts with plaster epoxies and metals. Treatment of bronze disease.

Spent 1 year under the guidance of Alan Farancz, Specialist in Tibetan art works, paintings and more

Duties included color matching, consolidating, filling, mounting and demounting, scaffolding, lining, in-painting, testing, photography, framing and gilding.
